Chrome for Android out of Beta, Available on Google Play in 48 Countries

Chrome for Android  (18.0.1025123) is now officially out of Beta. This update picks up important stability and performance fixes since the last Beta, along with some minor UI adjustments, especially for tablets. Chrome for Android brings an all new browsing experience to your Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or later phone or tablet.

Chrome for Android is focused on speed and simplicity, but it also features seamless sign-in and sync so you can take your personalized web browsing experience with you wherever you go, across devices.

Chrome for Android has these following features:
  • Browse fast with accelerated page loading, scrolling, and zooming:
    Pages load in a snap and hardware-accelerated page rendering lets you fly through long pages. Experience the mobile web, Chrome fast.
  • Search and navigate directly from the omnibox:
    Search and navigate from the same box. Choose from results that appear as you type. The top search result loads in the background, available instantly.
  • Open and switch between unlimited tabs in an easy-to-view stack:
    • Tabs reimagined -  Open unlimited tabs on your phone or tablet. To switch between tabs, flip through them on your phone the way you would fan a deck of cards, or swipe from edge to edge.
    • Easy navigation - Navigate with a simple, streamlined browser. Link Preview zooms in on links to make selecting the right link easier. Use Find in Page to locate specific words and scroll to see each match.
  • Sign in to Chrome to sync your bookmarks and view tabs you have open on your computer:
    Sign in to Chrome to bring your open tabs, bookmarks and omnibox data from your computer to your phone or tablet. That way, you have your Chrome, on all of your devices.
  • Send pages from desktop Chrome to your smartphone or tablet with one click and read them on the go, even if you’re offline.
  • Browse privately in Incognito mode:
    Incognito mode lets you browse the web on your phone or tablet without leaving traces of your history, cache, or local storage. You can also easily manage your Sync, Privacy, and Content settings, so you're always in control.

Chrome for Android is available on phones and tablets running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or later. Chrome for Android is available in 38 languages in 48 countries. The complete list of countries where the browser is available can be seen here.

Note: If you have Android 4.0 or up device but cannot find Chrome for Android on Google Play Store, it may not be available for your country’s Play Store.
