Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Express 2012 with Update 1 Available for Download

Microsoft has released Visual Studio Team Foundation Server Express 2012 with Update 1. This download is a source code control, project management, and team collaboration platform at the core of the Microsoft suite of Application Lifecycle Management tools, which help individuals and small teams be more agile, collaborate more effectively, and deliver quality software.

Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012 with Update 1 (2012.1) provides the collaboration hub at the center of Microsoft’s Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution. By automating the software delivery process, entire teams can take advantage of tools to track the team’s actions, transactions, and project artifacts like requirements, tasks, bugs, source code, and build & test results. Team Foundation Server 2012.1 enables comprehensive reporting and dashboards providing historical trending, full traceability, and real-time visibility into software quality.

Note: TFS Express is limited to five (5) users. Visual Studio Team Foundation Server 2012.1 can be used in larger teams.
