Security Compliance Manager 3.0 Available for Download

The Security Compliance Manager (SCM) 3.0 is now available for download. This download provides centralized security baseline management features, a baseline portfolio, customization capabilities, and security baseline export flexibility to accelerate your organization’s ability to efficiently manage the security and compliance process for the most widely used Microsoft technologies.

In addition to key features from the previous version, SCM 3.0 offers new baselines for Internet Explorer 10, Windows 8, and Windows Server 2012. SCM 3.0 enables you to quickly configure and manage computers and your private cloud using Group Policy and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.

SCM 3.0 provides ready-to-deploy policies and DCM configuration packs based on Microsoft Security Guide recommendations and industry best practices, allowing you to easily manage configuration drift and address compliance requirements for Windows Server 2012, Windows 8, and Internet Explorer 10, as well as other Microsoft applications.

  • Comparisons against industry best practices: Analyze your configurations against prebuilt baselines for the latest Windows client and server operating systems.
  • Enhanced setting library for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1: Further customize baselines and take advantage of an improved GPO Import feature affinity
