CPU-Z 1.69 Adds Support for New Processors

CPUID has released an update version of CPU-Z. This new release brings support for several new processors and mainboards. According to the official release notes, version 1.69 adds support for AMD A6-6420K, A4-6320, A4-4020, Athlon 5350 & 5150 and Sempron 3850 & 2650 Kabini. Intel Core i7-4770R and Core i5-4570R Crystal Well. This update also adds graphic card vendor.

Overview
CPU-Z is a freeware utility that gathers information on some of the main devices of your PCs hardware system. CPU-Z does not need to be installed, just unzip the files in a directory and run the .exe. In order to remove the program, just delete the files. The program does not copy any file in any Windows directory, nor write to the registry.

  • Name and number
  • Core stepping and process
  • Package
  • Core voltage
  • Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier
  • Supported instructions sets
  • Cache information

Mainboard
  • Vendor, model and revision.
  • BIOS model and date.
  • Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
  • Graphic interface.

Memory
  • Frequency and timings.
  • Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.

System
  • Windows and DirectX version.
